The vanilla and pear scent is subtle, not candy-sweet, which I appreciated. It stayed slick way longer than the last water-based one I tried, and a little goes a long way.
I was worried the vanilla-pear scent would be overpowering but it stays mild and doesn't linger. It's water-based so cleanup is easy, though I do need to reapply after a while for longer sessions.
The water-based formula cleans up easily and doesn't leave that tacky feeling afterward, which I appreciated. Only downside is it doesn't last quite as long as I hoped, so a little reapplication is needed. The vanilla note is subtle and not overpowering at all.
