Two sprays about ten minutes before was the sweet spot — no numbness, just the extra time I was after. The pantenolo keeps it from feeling harsh on the skin, which I didn't expect from something with tannic acid in it.
I was skeptical about a spray, but the pantenolo actually keeps the skin from feeling dry or irritated, which is what put me off other products. Two or three spritzes about fifteen minutes before was plenty, and it lasted way longer than I expected.
The oak bark extract really does what it promises, and unlike other sprays I've tried there's no burning or numbness. Two pumps about ten minutes before was plenty, and the panthenol left my skin feeling soft instead of dried out.
