Applied a small amount about ten minutes before and the difference in control was noticeable without any numbing feeling. Nice that it's water-based too, so cleanup was easy and it didn't leave anything sticky behind.
The water-based formula absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that sticky film other gels do. Used it last weekend and the plant extracts gave a warming sensation without any burning.
