The champagne color looks way classier in person than I expected, and the micro-velvet side is genuinely plush, not that thin scratchy stuff. Tested it properly and nothing soaked through either side, which is the whole reason I bought it.
I flipped it sherpa-side up and it's ridiculously soft, plus the waterproof backing actually held up with zero leaks. Washed it once already and the champagne color still looks brand new.
The micro-velvet side feels genuinely luxurious, and the sherpa fleece on the other is just as soft. We've spilled on it twice already and nothing soaked through, which is exactly why I bought it.
