The weight of the paddle gives each smack a satisfying thud, not that flimsy whack you get from cheaper ones. Those little studs on the surface definitely leave a mark worth remembering.
The studs on the paddle really do add a sharper sting compared to my plain one. Good weight in the handle too, so it lands solid without feeling clumsy. Exactly what I wanted for firmer sessions.
Wasn't sure the studs would make much difference but they really do add a nice bite to each swat. The paddle's light enough to swing for a while without my arm tiring out.
