Slid it into a coworker's going-away bag and the molded shape got an actual laugh before she even read the label. It's a solid soap bar, works fine for washing hands, and the novelty look is what makes it worth grabbing.
Bought this as a gag gift for my sister's birthday and it actually lathers up nicely, so it's not just a decorative lump. The molded shape held up fine through a few hand washes without dissolving into a blob.
The molded shape got the biggest laugh at the office gift swap, but I actually kept one for my own sink and it lathers fine for washing hands. Solid bar, holds up well after a couple weeks of use.
