I was expecting something modest for a night in, but the ruffled waist gives this mini dress a flirty shape that surprised me. The floral lace embroidery runs all the way through and feels soft, not scratchy.
The lace embroidery is genuinely beautiful up close, way more delicate than I expected from a photo. The ruffle at the waist sits just right and doesn't dig in, and it still feels romantic without being over the top.
I bought this for a date night and the ruffled waist detail made it feel a lot more flattering than I expected. The floral lace covers more than the photos suggest, which I actually liked, and it's surprisingly comfortable to wear for a few hours.
