Wasn't sure a thicker ring would make much difference but it's noticeably firmer and stays put way better than the thin one I had before. The stretch is still plenty forgiving, so it's snug without being uncomfortable. Genuinely impressed.

The extra thickness really does make a difference—firmer grip without feeling like it's digging in. The stretch is solid too, so it stays put once you get it on.
