The faux leather has a nice weight to it and the "slave" imprint actually shows up on the skin, which caught me off guard in the best way. The wrist strap is secure enough that I never worried about losing grip.
The wrist loop keeps it from flying out of my hand mid-swing, which I didn't expect to appreciate so much. That "slave" imprint actually shows up clearly afterward, way more legible than I figured it'd be.
