The multiple grooves make the progression actually gradual, which I appreciated way more than I expected. The high-strength metal feels solid and well-finished with no rough edges.
Wasn't sure about the rigid profile at first, but the multiple grooves actually let you work up gradually instead of jumping straight in. Cleaned up easily too, which matters with steel.
The steel feels genuinely solid in the hand, no flex at all, and the multiple grooves let me work up gradually instead of jumping straight to the widest point. Cleaning it afterward took a bit of extra care around the ridges, but that's a small trade-off for how precise the sizing progression feels.
